patrol division

There are more than 160 officers under the supervision of three commanders. Patrols are provided all day, every day of the year. These patrol units ensure a timely, safe, and appropriate response throughout the entire city.

The Patrol Division is composed of the following units:

  • Patrol

  • Bomb Squad
  • Shooting Response Team
  • SWAT

Support division

The Investigative Bureau, commonly known as the Detective Bureau, is composed of approximately 50 sworn and non-sworn personnel assigned to a wide variety of duties. The main responsibilities of the Bureau are to investigate reported crimes against persons and property.

The Operations Division is responsible for the day to day functioning of the department as well as strategic planning.
