Have you ever heard of Kennard, Indiana? Well… to be honest… we had to Google it.

A police officer from the town of Kennard recently called our police department with a unique question: "Do you guys have any cars to spare?"

Kennard, which is about 40 miles east of Indianapolis, is a small town β€” only about 450 people strong. The officers from their police department had all been sharing one (yes, 𝗼𝗻𝗲) old Crown Vic. But… to put it lightly… the Vic had well surpassed its glory days.

Luckily, the Kennard officer eventually connected with SBPD Officer Mollie Anton, who was able to help arrange a donation from SBPD to KPD.

We were honored to donate two of our retired, unused police cruisers to the town of Kennard, essentially tripling their fleet size in a single morning.

The only thing that would've made this donation better would've been a few of those big red bows. Oh well, maybe next time.

Slow down and be safe!
