On 10-08-16 shortly before 8:00 pm officers were dispatched to the 700 block of S. Wester Street to shots fired, followed by a female injured by gunfire. Arriving officers were directed to 714 S. Webster Street upon entering the residence, officers spoke with Angelique Molina FH24 who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm. Angelique was transported to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
While investigating this incident, officers were advised that a second victim, Obed Josue Lara MH33 had arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg. Mr. Lara confirmed that he was in the 700 block of S. Webster Street moments earlier when he was shot. Obed Lara was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Witnesses at the time of the shooting say a dark colored SUV sped away from the area.
