South Bend Police are investigating a shooting after a 28 year old male gunshot victim walked into the Emergency Room at the hospital.
Officers were dispatched around 6:50 Thursday night where they met with the male who had been shot four times in the legs. The injuries are described as non life threatening.
The victim was dropped off by an unknown female who was driving a silver GMC Envoy with a Michigan license plate. The female was not on scene when police arrived. Detectives are still trying to determine the events that led up to the shooting including location.
This case remains under investigation by the South Bend Police Investigative Bureau and detectives are asking anyone with information about this incident to come forward and contact police at 574-235-9201 or Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP.
