SBPD to Participate in Community Event May 13

The South Bend Police Department, along with other citizens groups, invites members of the community to attend a neighborhood event on the city’s east side May 13, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Robinson Learning Center (921 N. Eddy). Refreshments will be provided.

This is an opportunity for the community to meet and chat with their police department and see how officers hand off duties to the next shift. This will take place at 2 p.m. for the afternoon shift change. For anyone interested in exploring a career in law enforcement, this is also a great opportunity to learn about our hiring process!

In addition to the police department, a representative from Neighborhood Resource Connection will be in attendance to meet with residents interested in establishing a neighborhood group.

South Bend Code Enforcement will also have a representative on hand to talk about the codes in the City of South Bend and answer any questions.
