Q: What is Cops and Goblins?

A: Cops and Goblins is a safe, fun and FREE trick-or-treating event open to all kids in the community. It's organized by the South Bend Police Department and sponsored by several local businesses and organizations.

Q: Where do I get tickets?

A: 10/4/24 UPDATE: This is now a sold out event! Thank you for your interest!

Q: How many tickets should I get?

A: You will need a ticket for each person in your party, regardless of whether they plan to take candy. For example: a mom, dad and two siblings would need a total of four tickets.

Q: What if I couldn't get tickets? Can I still come in?

A: Unfortunately, to keep crowd sizes manageable, a ticket is required for entry.

Q: Where is the Century Center?

A: The Century Center is located at 120 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in South Bend.

Q: Is this a rain or shine event?

A: Yes! An advantage of holding this year's event at the Century Center is that it will be indoors! However, you will likely be standing outside while waiting in line... so dress accordingly.

Q: Where should I park?

A: SBPD is working with the City of South Bend to offer several free parking locations. Please check back in mid-October for a list of parking options.

Q: What should I expect at the event?

A: Trick-or-treaters and their families will pass by dozens of tables hosted by local organizations and businesses. Pick up a piece of candy from each table and move down the line as you fill your bag with tasty treats! To help with the wait, SBPD will split the line in half, directing you to one of two event spaces.

Q: Will you ever return to Four Winds Field?

A: We plan to host this event at Four Winds Field as soon as the stadium is done with construction! The South Bend Cubs have been an outstanding partner for the past decade!

Q: What if my business or organization wants to host a candy table?

A: Please email SBPDOutreach@southbendin.gov and inlcude your name and the name of your business/organization.
